Born 1963 in Nancheng, Jiangxi, Professor Cui Yong (崔勇) holds a doctoral degree in architecture. He is currently a research fellow and a doctoral supervisor at the Research Institute of Architectural Art, Chinese National Academy of Arts (中國藝術研究院建築藝術研究所). He is also a council member of Chinese Society of Architectural History (中國建築史學會), a member of the Expert Committee on Chinese Architectural Cultural Heritage in 20th Century (二十世紀中國建築文化遺產專家委員會) and a member of the Expert Committee on Chinese Cultural Relics and Art Identification (中國文物藝術品評估專家委員會). He is principally engaged in research on the conservation of China’s architectural cultural heritage, architectural art history and theory, and Chinese and international art history and theory.
