Professor Tan Shuchun (譚屬春)

Professor Tan Shuchun (譚屬春) was born February 1964 in Anhua, Hunan Province. He graduated from the Department of History at Nankai University (南開大學), Tianjin in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in Chinese History. From 1990 to 1993, he studied at the Department of History at Hunan Normal University (湖南師範大學) and obtained a Master’s degree. He was promoted to associate professor in 1996 and further promoted to higher education researcher in 2010. In 1998, he became a member of the CPC and the director of Publicity Department (Culture and Education Office at the Shenzhen Polytechnic (深圳職業技術學院)). His works include Hunan Jin Xian Dai Shi (Early Modern History of Hunan) (湖南近現代史), Su Wen Hua Si Shu Wu Jing (The Four Books and Five Classics in Popular Culture) (俗文化四書五經) and Zhongguo Jing Dai She Hui Si Chao (Schools of Thought in Modern Chinese Society) (中國近代社會思潮).
