Doctor Wang Ruyue (王如躍) graduated from a five-year Bachelor of Chinese Medicine program at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (廣州中醫藥大學中醫系) in 1982. She is currently a postgraduate research student at the Department of Philosophy of Beijing Normal University (北京師範大學哲學系) and obtained a Doctorate of Medicine from the Hubei University of Chinese Medicine (湖北中醫藥大學). She is an instructor of Chinese Medicine, clinical worker and researcher, focusing on the study of fundamental theories of Chinese Medicine, the Chinese Medicine approach to nutrition, gynecology and psychology, as well as medical practice and research. She has published around a dozen research papers and has appeared in numerous television programs hosted by Television Broadcasts, Asia Television and Hong Kong Cable Television as a speaker on Chinese diet therapy and foods for preventing and treating various diseases common among city-dwellers.
