Born 1966, Zheng Shanyun (鄭珊雲) graduated from the Department of Chinese Language & Literature at Xiamen University (廈門大學中文系) in 1988. She then entered the Fujian branch of China News Service (中國新聞社) and is currently the deputy director of the editorial office.
